其中一個特色, 是有鱗莖(台灣俗稱"蟲"), 可作鱗莖繁殖. 亦是冬眠時用作保存飬份. 土太濕或已長滿盆其鱗莖會長至泥土表面, 或會發展成新的植株, 泥裡的也會長芽.
